If something does go wrong
Sites break. A plugin update conflicts with a theme, a host has a bad night, or a form quietly stops sending. What matters is how quickly it is spotted and how quickly it is put right.
Because there are recent offsite backups, the usual answer is a restore rather than a rebuild. If a site has been compromised, that means full malware removal, a restore from a clean backup, and a review afterwards to work out how it happened and close the gap. You get told what happened in plain language, not a ticket number.
How it works
Three stages, and the first one costs you nothing.
Website audit
We look at the site as it stands: what is out of date, where the security gaps are, how fast it loads, what is broken and what is holding back its search visibility. You get the findings whether or not you go any further.
Set up the plan
Monitoring, backups, security and performance work are put in place and tuned to the site. Changes are tested on mobile, tablet and desktop before they go anywhere near the live site.
Ongoing care and reporting
Updates and checks happen on a regular cycle, you get a report on how the site is doing, and you have somebody to call when you need a change made or something looks odd.

It depends on the size of the site, how complex it is and how often you need changes made. A five page brochure site and a busy online shop are very different amounts of work. You get a fixed monthly price after the free audit, so there are no surprises.
Yes, as long as the site is in reasonable condition. The free audit tells us both whether it is worth maintaining as it stands or whether the money is better spent on a rebuild.
Backups run automatically every day and are stored offsite, away from the web server, so a problem on the server does not take the backups with it.
Of course. It is your website. Maintenance is there to handle the parts you would rather not think about, not to lock you out of your own content.
Get in touch and we will look at it. Recovery normally means removing the malicious code, restoring from a clean backup, changing the credentials that were exposed and then reviewing how it got in so the same route is closed.
